The Zabi Empire - More Than One Year Ago

degwinzabi2.jpg

-Emperor Degwin Zabi-

I had just entered EVE, and my name was... Degwin Zabi. I had started with nothing, besides my rookie frigate, and no allies oncesoever. My home system was Kisogo, and I was a Caldari. After a day, I had gotten the basics down.

Once I had understood the concept of mining, fighting Non Player Combatants (NPC), and corporations, I began my search for a bussiness partner. I went through a few people over a week and found one that I wanted; Axis Mikhels. After two weeks of mining and fighting, we created the Zaxis Empire (Corporation). I was the leader, and he was immidate subordinate. During this time, he was considered the only Grand Admiral of the Zabi Imperial Fleet. We recruited about ten people, and then something terrible happened. We were legally declared war on by the Apocalyptic Mercenaries LLCorporation. (AMLLC). They told us that if we did not join them, the war would continue and our people would die repetitively. That means loosing skills or money on clones to keep skills. We had twenty four hours to think about it before they moved a fleet to Jita, the most populated system in the galaxy neighboring Kisogo.

Me and Axis were discussing what to do: Axis said we should hold strong. But we could not. They had superior ships, superior weapons, superior skill in using them, and superior knowledge in the game than we did. We fought for half an hour under command of Axis until I ordered the fighting to stop. There had been more deaths from us than we had people. Twenty four hours later, we joined them. I became a subordinate to Vizfact, their leader.

And from that day, the seed for Zabi's destruction was planted.

I then advanced my ship from a Cormorant to a Destroyer. Vizfact messaged me, telling me that Axis Mikhels didn't like me for "abandoning" Zabi. When I got my destroyer, me and Axis commonly dueled eachother over fueds over who was right. One of my spies later found out that Vizfact was trying to get us to fight for the interest of it. During this time, Calo Zabi (Sarso Zabi) joined EVE and I brought him to the AMLLC. He stayed for some time, and then left EVE.

Vizfact was going to do what he did yet again to another corporation; Absorb them. But he was wrong; That was not a good thing. I argued and complained, and Axis and Vizfact blew me up repetitively for target practice and told me to shut up. So tis what I did, but I waited until the time was right. Once the second enslaved corporation joined us, I rallied sixty percent of the lesser people (Slaves) to fight against the original corporation. They had battleships and battlecruisers, and we had only frigates, destroyers, and two cruisers. There were thirty people fighting with me, and we died what was said to be about 300 some times. But we still won, ship after ship, body after body, shot after shot. The rest left, but they forced me to say.

Garma Zabi (Ganthor) joined EVE during this time, and we did manage to get out of the AMLLC. We formed our own corporation; The Second Zabi Imperium.

Intermission

------

On the Ground in Tribes, as said in my Outrage against Zabi Speech, we were loosing control over the servers. Zabis were leaving; The game or joining MX. The clan was growing out of control, and the true leader, E-DoG was never present. I was not paying as much attention as I should've, and one day E-DoG acquired ownership of the mod from Vage. This happened about half a month after the actual creation of the Second Zabi Imperium (Corporation), so I mark this period of time as the undeterminable change of era.

The Zabi Empire in Space 2

------

Half a month after the creation of the Second Zabi Imperium (Corporation), it was said that we may have had member numbers as high as 1200; 60 on EVE and still we had a large presence on Tribes.

On EVE, we began working on the Ferox project; My plan was to get all of the corporation members in Ferox Battlecruisers so that we could form a fleet and take over and defend a small, lightly populated area of the Period Basis region in the lower "Southern" extremeties of the galaxy.

The price to buy the Ferox Battlecruiser was high; Avaraging Thirty-Million Isk (30,000,000 Interstellar Kredit). About a month's worth of the entire corporation pitching in, per ship. I looked into building, and I saw that with in terms of mining material, they could be half the price. I created a crappy, hidden moonbase on the lightside surface of Muvolailen III, in the Muvolailen system. We built trails of storage containers, and eventually we had the entire light side of the planet covered in a network of beacons and floating containers. My personal "Alpha Light" base was located on the top pole of the planet. In a passworded, locked, hidden can named "Agent Personnel Only," my notes hide even today. All of the recorded Tribes meetings logs, all of my former statements and speeches, battleplans to take the system Period Basis, contacts, and mining plans stay safe in that can.

Fifteen kilometers above the Zabi Imperial Equatorial Beacon, we had a mining warehouse established which held our mining material. We had 9 cans, each which held 3900 cubic meters of ore. At the end, we had paid a total of 10 million Isk for a ship worth three times as much. It took us half a month. I began using it, and we mined faster to create a second one for Garma Zabi.

During the mining for the second one, the AMLLC remnant declared war upon us. That war did not last long; They did not win, but they destroyed my Ferox. Shortly afterward, they exhausted. There was a long period of time where nothing much really happened, but much later some believed that we had approximately twelve thousand members. We had stopped using our first site in which Dark Energy made suggestions on while we were still alright with eachother, and second site was created.

Garma Zabi began complaining that the work he and the corporation did was getting us nowhere, and that I should immidately pay everyone. There is nothing I could have done to prevent the AMLLC from coming back as they did, it was inevitable. This complaint roused many of the Zabi members, and at the same time I lost cable, as it seems to do so commonly. I got it back soon after, and I wouldn't let the [SZI] die quite that fast. Garma Zabi left EVE again for some time. I joined the Freelance Blood Alliance with a total 500 members, and it just so happened to be in the same pack with Axis Mikhels. The chances of that are so small, I was in a state of utter amazement, and disbelief. But it was indeed a coincidence.

He was ranked Admiral in the FBA fleet; one of the only two there were. The other one was named Raven, an FBA friend of Axis.

The Battle of the Left Flank-------------------------

In the Southern regions, I was "assigned" to the rear guard of the FBA headquarters system, Groothese. We entered a system, scanned it, and found the enemy group that was getting ready to attack our base before they could. We jumped on a lone Interceptor pilot in dead space, and in the local communication channel he said something to the effect of;

"Come on Mikhels, you cant get me."

No one in the entire fleet of sixty FBA Southern Shield ships could fly as fast as me, nor carried as many drones as me. The interceptor flew 3000m/s, and I could fly 2500m/s in a much larger ship with my drones going 4500m/s. I was the only one who could catch it, and the only one with guns for tracking it. I burned after it in immidate pursuit. This was my first fleet battle, and I was clearly the centerpeice of the operation.

I had the enemy ship down to no shields, quarter armor, and half of it's hull when Axis Mikhels told me to return to the group of ships or be destroyed. Axis targeted me and gave me a final warning, so I returned to the fleet, 200km away from the battle. He then told me to cover the "Left flank." After precious minutes of confusion on to where exactly the left flank would be in an unorganized space fleet, we had lost several smaller ships because of the interceptor sniping.

A Heavy Assault Cruiser came out of warp, flanked by two standard cruisers directly near where Axis had specified the "left flank" to be, and he ordered ME to engage the HAC. Axis had a battleship, and he was the only one who stood a chance against it. Instead, he spent his incredibly slow moving ammunition fruitlessly against the Interceptor, which could literally outrun and outmanuver his shots. He was toasted by a ship approximately twenty times smaller than he. And I was toasted by a ship twice the size of me with about ten times the destructive firepower. Sixty of us died, and we were killed by four people.

------

The Northern Assault--------------------------

I had recived reports from one of the Zabi members who had been deployed in the Northern Assault, commanded by Admiral Raven. They had twenty battleships; Thats two billion isk, involved. We were leading a simeltaneous attack against their battlestation. Against automated defenses, Admiral Raven was reported to have "...screamed bloody murder, and then abandon..." the fleet over teamspeak. Two billion in FBA Isk lost in that battle, and there was an avarage death; One for every person in the FBA.

The cost of this was three and a half billion isk, and the SZI statistics:

Lost Isk = 25,000,000 (million)

People = 40 destroyed (out of 60)

------

The Counterattack-----------------------------

The pirate units were pleased by the victory, and the fact that we had lost these two battles and all skirmishes so easily drove them to fight against us harder. At least four cloaked "Stealth Bomber" class ships came out during an allied mining operation lead by Se Chan. Zabi Intelligence was sure that there were more, still cloaked. Roughly ten mining barges were destroyed with all of their ore; two hundred million at least down the drain. Everyone except for Zabi members died in this incident specifically because I ordered them not to mine with Axis Mikhels. I demanded to be given the rank of never before used FBA Grand Admiral of the Fleet, and it was granted to me on August 11 of 2006. The very first thing I did was remove Axis Mikhels from the position of Admiral and replaced him with a Zabi member. Raven immidately quit the FBA before I told him that he was to be demoted, and Se Chan took the place of the other Admiral.

Six days later, August 17th, the tide of the war had changed. We were no longer confined the the Groothese/Bille area; We plowed northbound through their ranks for another week afterward, never relenting. On August 25th, we had destroyed their main station after hours of mapping and planning. I was in a nearby system guarded by about twenty FBA and Zabi members while coordinating the battle. I even went into the system, and 14 Astronomical Units away, millions of kilometers, the enemy battlestation erupted in an explosion. For the next three days, we had a mop up operation. On August 29th, the war was offically declared over.

The alliance leader later demoted me on account of being "immature." I won their war and lost them only ammunition and no more than five people, and became demoted on account of overquoting Invader Zim. Haa...

|The Zabi Empire in Space 3|

The Second Zabi Imperium began to decline, not because of any particular problem, but because it was simply old. I wouldn't let go, until one day I was contacted by Axis Mikhels...

He offered me a ship I had never used before; A battleship, if I joined him. I value the battleship as the highest prize, but I knew it was a trick. I went along with it anyway; My corp was disintegrated anyway. It did not matter. I joined his coporation, the Dark Orion. I rarely used my battleship, flying around in cruisers or destroyers instead. He used me as target practice, until a while before Garma Zabi rejoined EVE. When Garma rejoined, I went into a channel with Axis, myself, and Garma.

"Is this the traitor to Zabi you've been telling me about?"

"..."

"Not quite, who I was talking about was..."

...Was him, but that was not good. I was on the ground of an enemy, and he further used me as cannon fodder. He and Zod were absent for a while, and they forgot that I was director. I discussed with Garma on how much material and Isk to level them to. We decided zero would be a nice number. They both returned at a very inconvinent time; I did some fighting (On their own money; everytime they blew me up THEY lost a ship, and everytime I blew them up, they STILL lost a ship), and then left.

I was on the run for two months afterward, when I decided one day I would take a visit to the EVE gate for fun. I flew there in my fastest ship, 4000m/s, and flew for the gate hoping I could get there if I tried hard enough. I was the only one in the system. I flew for three hours, and then someone else warped in system named Isis Dea. We talked, both in the same ship, both hoping to get to the gate. We never did; we both clone jumped back to Kisogo. We were then the closest people ever to get to the EVE gate.

I joined his corporation, the Aspi-Vore Cyberblades. We recruited hoardes of people, and fast. We rejoined the FBA, the leader of it had given me a larger battleship after the destruction of my first one. I fought in the alliance tournament, and although me, Isis Dea, and another FBA member lasted only a minute against the others, we were still glad to fight against some of the best people in the galaxy. We created a true Zabi Elite, finding rookies and specifically screening them, watching even their method of typing, and listening to what they had to say, and then Gihren, Dozul, Kycilia(A different one), and Mineva Zabi had joined us after after a fashion.

And then came...

----The Eleven Way War----

It was stupid. It was the most stupid series of events I've ever been involved in. Simeltaneously mercenaries declaring war on the FBA, and Axis Mikhel's agents declaring war on us, and some entirely random people declaring war on us just because we were having so much trouble. Isis Dea backed out of the war, when I formulated a massive plan to get tens of billions of Isk that very month. It had to begin working within the day I ordered it to, or within the next few days or it would be utterly lost. My plan entirely depended on a certain price of Zydrine, one of the most expensive materials in the galaxy, to stay as high as it was. They would not listen to me, after two days implying things like I should get a vote and explain, take a few days to map out my strategy.

By the time they said that, it had failed. The price of Zydrine went back down to normal levels. What I deemed as incompetence threw me into state of rage; I immidately left and began operation FIE: First Irken Empire(A branch of Zabi), with the creation of the first Death Star. We were about to put it down, the twenty of us, when I realized my guard was an agent of Axis Mikhels. Zabi Intelligence told me this two minutes before he caught me and shot me in the back while I was in a convoy with ships much weaker than he. Operation FIE had failed miserably.

I skipped around on the run, realizing that Axis's cursed agents had found me again. After months of running, hiding, and pretending to be gone from EVE, I wondered what I would ever do. I eventually lost them, and I recreated the Zabi Empire. I immidately got thirty members, and realized that without Tribes, nothing would work. Around the end of September, I returned to Tribes.
